- The floating spoon is to encourage flexion and collection
- A couple of small copper rings are placed on the floating spoon to increase salivation and reduce any nervousness
- A swept back shank to discourage a horse from playing with the shank. This cheek allows for great balance to the bit as well as the length increases the amount of leverage to your horse’s chin and poll.
- The bars of this bit are angled for Mullen Relief that makes a bit sit comfortably in a horses mouth while having a “ball bearing” texture that allows for a quicker response
- Comes with a bit hobble
This 2 1/4″ floating spoon increases palate pressure on the roof of the mouth as well as some tongue pressure where the spoon will rest on the tongue, the smooth bars will encourage good lateral flexion and the floating spoon will encourage collection.
