This 7 Shank is 7” long and has quite a bit of weight behind the mouthpiece, which allows a quick release from the rider’s hands. This is an excellent transition bit out of an o-ring or d-ring. The 5” dog bone applies more pressure to the outside of the bars, encouraging more flex and bend than a traditional two-piece snaffle. This dog bone also has a roller in the middle, a great soothing tool for an anxious horse.
